So recently I started thinking about my future.
It all started because it looks like everyone else I know knows what they want and what they're good at. I still lack confidence in my work and it's a serious major bummer. My fear holds me back from progressing and I'm being lazy.

It's been a while since I last thought of it, but I also wondered what it was that made me happy. Yes my family and friends that I know will never turn their backs on me, they are a definite when I think of my happiness. But there was something else, and I realized that helping others really makes me happy. What got me going was when my old friend since elementary school suddenly announced that she was going to Kenya to help the people there. It really made me respect her choices and I felt a little jealous that she had the confidence and strength to do what she decided to do.

Lately I've realized how much I enjoy teaching people things they didn't know. To instill knowledge into another human being really is an empowering feeling. Though I'm still unsure I have a feeling that my final resolve will be to go back to school and get my masters in teaching. Yes illustration is a load of fun, and I plan on trying to set myself in the field and making a name for myself. But in the long run, I feel that I will end up setting myself as a teacher. I do plan on going to Korea after I graduate and do the government program where I can teach people english and be paid for it, and they would pay for my housing. That event in my life will determine my resolve. I just hope it's the right decision.. But that's all in the future and not now.

Right NOW? I think the greatest happiness I'll receive is when I complete my thesis. Hehe that's my top priority.
